Meet Benjamin Raskin, LMFT · CSAT-C (CSAT Candidate)
These aren’t always easy things to talk about. You don’t need to have everything worked out before we begin.

A little about me
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, license #165600 · CSAT-C (CSAT Candidate). Through my independent practice, Therapy by Ben, I work with individuals seeking recovery from sex and porn addiction, and with couples affected by addiction or betrayal.
I’m also a CSAT Candidate (CSAT-C), with specialized training in sex addiction recovery, and I’m nearing completion of the CSAT certification process. Learn what CSAT-C means and how this training informs my work.
I also offer recovery groups, intensives, and related support. My individual work is with the person seeking addiction recovery; I do not offer standalone individual therapy for betrayed partners.
How I approach the work
We’ll take time to understand what brings you here and what you want to be different.
We’ll discuss goals and choose an approach that fits your needs, rather than assume one label or recovery model works for everyone.
I aim to balance compassion with accountability, without expecting you to arrive knowing exactly what to say.
Before starting, we’ll review fees, privacy and its limits, consent, and how we’ll work together. If a different provider would be a better fit, we can discuss that.
Online in California
Sessions are online for eligible clients physically located in California. We’ll confirm your location and whether online therapy is appropriate, then discuss current appointment availability.
The introductory 15-minute call is free. It gives us a chance to ask questions and see whether working together feels right. See fees and contact options.
Ask your questions, talk about what brings you here, and see whether working together feels right.
